红鞋日记
在情色片这个领域中，萨曼京无疑可以称之为大师。脍炙人口的名作就有爱你九周半/Nine暂无内容1/2暂无内容Weeks、野兰花/Wild暂无内容Orchid等，但更值得一提的就是红鞋日记系列，这个电视系列自1992年推出首部后，至2002共拍了19部，第一部由X档案系列男主角大卫杜楚尼主演，为单独的一个故事，之后其角色转换为读信人角色，其它各部均由3个小故事组成，深刻剖析女性面对性与爱的心理。其作品风格与另一大师丁图布拉斯相比更加唯美，也更易为人所接受。

In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
