西南偏南电影节剧情片竞赛。                                                                      　　Nellie and Daisy attempt to escape the institution for delinquent girls in 1954 New Zealand, however not only are they caught, it triggers a relocation to a facility on a remote island. The duo become a trio as well-to-do Lou joins them, and life on the island takes shape under the command of devout Matron. The trio rail against the system, dubious of the benevolence of the bible and taking refuge in their blossoming friendship. It’s hard to reform girls who don’t believe they need reforming. However, a sense of doom settles in when experimental forms of punishment take place in the dead of night. Nellie and Daisy plot rebellion, but unexpectedly find themselves at odds with Lou, who is afraid to break the rules.

　　ある日、沖縄の海に奇怪な生物が現れた。オニヒトデを思わせる「それ」は毒液で漁師を負傷させ、瞬く間に日本全域に広がった。それは伝説のニライカナイの古代文明が環境汚染の解決の為の生体浄化システムとして生み出したが、暴走したために結果としてニライカナイの滅亡の一因となった怪獣ダガーラの復活の前兆であった。　　エリアス姉妹は地球の危機を察知して石垣島へ飛ぶと、そこにはニライカナイから来た小生物ゴーゴが出現し、その尾の装飾リングから宝がある事を悟った本土からの密猟者と、ゴーゴを保護した地元の少女たちがいた。エリアス姉妹は「ニライカナイの遺跡にはダガーラを倒す秘宝がある」という伝説を知っていた。少女たちとエリアス姉妹、そして姉妹と対立する黒い妖精ベルベラと密猟者はそれぞれ組んで海へ出る。　　ゴーゴの手引きでニライカナイの遺跡であるピラミッドが海から出現した。だが、宝捜しをしている頃、石垣島にダガーラが上陸し暴れ出したため、エリアス姉妹はモスラを召喚して戦いを挑む。ダガーラとモスラは石垣島から西表島まで空中戦を繰り広げ、遺跡のピラミッド付近で海中戦となり、モスラは海での戦いを得意とするダガーラに海に引きずり込まれた。そしてダガーラは「それ」 = 無数のベーレムをモスラに取り付かせ、モスラは戦闘不能に陥った。エリアスは必死にモスラに取り付いたベーレムを剥がそうと試みるが、あまりにも沢山付いているため、全くきりがない。絶体絶命のピンチに陥ったモスラ、宝の発見は急務となった。　　遺跡の中のトラップをくぐり抜けた少女たちと密猟者は、辿りついたホールでニライカナイの王女の立体映像から「ゴーゴが宝の主として少女 = 汐里を選んだ」事を告げられる。だが、ダガーラはピラミッドを襲撃してきた! 崩壊するピラミッドの最中、モスラはゴーゴの「命の水」の力により、取り付いたベーレムは取り払われ、さらにレインボーモスラとなってパワーアップし、再びダガーラと再戦する。さっきまでの状況とは一変し、今度はモスラが優位に立った。ダガーラが再び海中に潜った時、モスラはアクアモスラに変身し、戦いの舞台は、海底に移った。ダガーラの攻撃をバリアーでガードし、ダガーラに強力な攻撃を与えるモスラ。さらに分身モードとなり、ダガーラの体内から、ベーレムを倒しながら攻撃し、遂にダガーラは倒れ、その後、ピラミッドと共に消滅。モスラも海から出てきた後、元の姿のレインボーモスラに戻り、インファント島に帰って行き、危機は去ったのであった。

　　高速公路：琵姆是高速公路收费站夜班收费员。凌晨三点钟在她当值的时候，一股邪恶力量正在威胁她的生命。 一夜情：谭是一个绘画修复者，喜欢参加各种派对和夜店。一天，谭遇见了一个神秘、性感的女人娜潘，并对她一见钟情。第二天凌晨三点钟，他找到娜潘并跟随她到她家。这个女人究竟是谁？ 电视直销：山姆是一档电视购物节目的导演。他的组员和主持人打算合伙捉弄他。他们密谋了一系列奇异的事件，想要报复一下这个自大的导演。凌晨三点钟，导演助理欧接到了山姆女朋友的电话，她打电话来是告诉他，山姆在来电视台的路上出车祸死了。欧试图把这个消息告诉组员们，但是没人相信他的话。这时，所有灯瞬间熄灭，恶作剧开始了……

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
