切罗基大街的房子
英国托管末期的以色列特拉维夫。生活在切罗基大街的是一群来自世界各地犹太人。15岁埃及裔以色列男孩儿萨米是寡妇克拉拉的长子。克拉拉给人帮佣，家庭生活拮据。喜欢读书的萨米不得不缀学去做工。因粗暴的工头的种族歧视语言引发了工人们的罢工，萨米借机来到图书馆看，邂逅了叙利亚女孩儿索妮亚，并与她发生了肌肤之亲，最终因种族和年龄的差异而分手。英国军队四处抓捕犹太激进分子，民不聊生。联合国决议宣布后，第一次中东战争开始，萨米的弟弟在轰炸中丧生，萨米虚报年龄参军入伍，奔赴战场。获奖情况：该片获当年奥斯卡最佳外语片提名。

妙药春情
