　　2020年，在香港首次发现稳定虫洞，人们可以通过稳定虫洞回到历史上的时间节点，为了防止有人通过虫洞回到历史并破坏历史，时空管理局应运而生。 时空管理局担负着校正历史、让历史按着既定轨道运行的使命。然而时空守卫队队长左石，却突然率领五名部下，携带着超出时代进程的枪支武器，闯入虫洞，回到了历史中的秦阳城，意图以颠覆历史要挟时管局在48小时内关闭虫洞。 为了挽救历史，女探员景彤临危受命与前守卫队队长秦朗，带领新组建的守卫队，配备青铜武器回到历史之中，阻止左石一行。

小说作家阿贞与拳王父亲从小存在隔阂，父亲离世后，她通过格斗竞技探寻真相，逐渐理解父亲并完成自我蜕变。影片围绕父爱与亲情展开，男主角虽格斗天资一般，仍不懈追寻梦想。剧情融合文与武转换、善与恶抉择，最终阿贞为父正名，成为真正的格斗家 。
