拳击手大卓因意外受伤告别了擂台，在小区当了一个保安。在照顾患有痴呆症父亲的过程中，大卓渐渐理解了父亲多年来对他的爱，父子间童年时的心结被解开。为弥补父亲曾经的遗憾，大卓重拾信心，再一次站到了擂台之上。
