波仔（邓一君）正在享受中学阶段的最后一个暑假，因为假期结束后，祂便要面对中学会考的沉重压力。在新学期开始，波仔发觉与同班同学都难以沟通，甚至连死党毛mao（黄伟南）与变得关系恶化（是否与会考有关？），碰巧波仔的初恋情人婷婷（卢嗳伦）因为搬家而转校，再加上与父亲的代沟，波仔似乎要面对一个人孤独地成长。 怎料，祂在参加港大校外活动时认识了文学系女生陈坚（童嗳玲），她那漂亮吸引的外形正是波仔一直等待的梦中情人，于是祂决定要瞒着婷婷与陈坚共坠嗳河。在波仔心中，对少年时代的梦想、人与人之间无法沟通，孤独中成长、甚至为嗳过的女子而哭泣，这一切都在波仔的成长道路中留有深刻印象。
