密林深处
1865年，流浪汉Timothee来到法国南部的一个村子，假装自己是聋哑人住了下来，他被村里一位美丽的女子约瑟芬深深迷住了，为了接近她，他向约瑟芬的父亲休斯医生乞讨，好客的休斯医生果然邀他到家共进晚餐，席间，他耍了一些奇怪的把戏糊弄住了约瑟芬。第二天，趁约瑟芬独自在家时，他溜进房间将约瑟芬催眠，被一种邪乎的力量驱使，尽管约瑟芬对他又厌恶又恐惧，但还是跟随他来到了一片丛林的深处，在这里约瑟芬饱受羞辱和虐待，直到流浪汉被逮捕和审判。让村民们好奇的是，驱使约瑟芬跟随流浪汉前往丛林中的力量到底是什么呢？
