Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　1999年釜山的一个小村庄里，女学生恩智（刘慧英饰）被害身亡，她的哥哥张宇（周元饰）也失去了唯一的亲人，他决心一定要查出杀害妹妹的凶手。由于一点线索都没有，张宇不得不借助能预知死亡的少女（李柔英饰）的力量来追查真凶，并在追查的过程中，盯上了小区内平常人缘和口碑都不错的药店药师闵药局（刘海镇饰），虽然没有证据，但是张宇却认定他就是“那个家伙”，于是开始24小时紧盯着闵药局  。

　　凯撒（安迪·瑟金斯 饰）领导的猿族将被迫与残暴的Colonel（伍迪·哈里森 饰）领导的人类军队上演一场生死大战。猿族在战斗中遭遇了前所未有的重创，由此激发了凯撒内心中黑暗的一面，心中燃起复仇的烈火。最终，凯撒与Colonel面对面进行了一场关乎猿族和人类命运的终极之战。
